Since ancient times Uzbek embroidery
played an important role in culture and developing of Uzbek people. Each piece
of embroidery even small pieces had their own required destination like Uzbek
colourful celebrations and traditional weddings. Every Uzbek woman made an
embroidery, embroidery was solely the craft of women. Each piece of Silk
handmade embroidery is a real masterpiece, which has been made with heart and
love.
This is handmade embroidered pendants is a single part of a "Bugjama". This
two beautiful pendants were a part of decorations of dowry of fiancee. In the
bottom of the pendants there are stunning handmade woven silk tassels with beads
at tip.
The length 22 inches.
Condition is good. Age about 1960 -
70 from Surhandarya south of Uzbekistan.
